We are so excited that this product we have nurtured for over a year (and have dreamt about for far longer than that) will be in the hands of our first backers so soon! We confess it is a bit nerve-wracking, as we have poured so much of ourselves into these carriers and hope you think they are every bit as wonderful as we do. We hope our Hatches make a very favorable impression as they reach the end point of their journeys, and we’re excited to hear your reactions and get your feedback when they do.
When we began the whole Kickstarter process, we had no idea what to expect. Would people be interested in our product? Would people think this concept was something worth supporting? What we found was all of you -- ready to give our idea a chance, ready to support our vision. And over many, many months of struggles, delays, fights with suppliers and manufacturers, and snafus we never even imagined were risks (“that’s a thing?!” was a phrase we used a lot these past months), you all continued to be so extraordinarily supportive, patient, and encouraging. We cannot thank you enough, and hope that you will be very happy to have bet on Hatch.
We want to make your pets’ lives better and we want to provide you with a product that looks great and performs wonderfully in real life. We hope we have hit our mark. And we hope you will let us know either way.
